The Golden Cross Company
What is the Golden Cross?
The Golden Cross is a mercenary company, consisting of four wizards that existed some 3700 years ago in the world of Harem Heroes. In that time, monsters were not beautiful creatures of seduction and pleasure, but bloodthirsty beasts. These four friends, gifted with the one in a million chance to wield magic, helped deal with that.

Every once in a while, that is.
​
In truth, humanity has no shortage of non-monster jobs for the four to take. From delivering ransom money, kidnapping noblewomen, finding lost sons, saving towns from drought and flood, and so on. A wizarding mercenary company was useful for many things. Until one day, they bit off more than they could chew and faced the Overlord, the singular monster that ruled all other monsters.

As a result, all four were turned to stone. Petrified. Trophies to the Overlord's power.

The story of Harem Heroes begins when David, a member of the company, is released from his prison by Silas, an elven sage. But the other three members are out there somewhere. And David intends to find his friends amongst this brave new world.

David: The hero of the story. A short wizard that was turned to stone by the Viridian Flame 3700 years ago. He was frozen at the age of 26. He was revitalized by Silas, an elven sage. The two came to a head over fundamental differences on the opinion of what to do about current day monsters. Known as David the Purple, for the large amount of purple he wears.

Devon: David’s younger, yet bigger, brother. the leader of the Golden Cross wizard mercenary company. Frozen in stone at the age of 25 by the Viridian Flame 3700 years ago. It's currently unknown what became of him. Specializes in fire and lightning based spells. Also known as Devon the Red.

Kris: Member of the Golden Cross, specializes in healing magic. Like all members of the Golden Cross, he was frozen in stone by the Viridian Flame 3700 years ago. What became of him is currently unknown. Also known as Kris the White.

Danny: A half Sorvian half Zipangese wizard and member of the Golden Cross. Specializes in conjuration and summoning. Like all members of the Golden Cross, he was frozen in stone by the Viridian Flame 3700 years ago. His whereabouts are unknown. Also known as Danny the Black
